To the outside world, graphic design is like playing with colors, words and pictures. Of course, to us designers, it roots much deeper and is a bit more serious than that. (Come on, they pay us to do these things.) On that note, Shannon and I paired some of my fashion photographs with a couple of her abstract, environmental shots. Composition and juxtaposition are, in my opinion, two of the most valid traits a designer can hold dear to her heart. Which is why I wore this t-shirt backwards. Boom.

Love love LOVE the color—I need more of it this time of year. I recently got a gray watch from WatchToy, but seeing that blue one made me wish I had chosen the bright purple one. Ugh, I always play it safe! Ohh well..

The casualness of the tee looks so good with the structured pencil skirt! The extra photos gives the outfit great context, too.
